From fluffy, flavored marshmallows and rich chocolates to playful gummies and seasonal sweets, every treat is made to spark joy and share a taste of love, heritage, and community.

Their story begins with owner Stephanie’s love for cooking which began at a young age in the kitchen with her own grandmother. Both Stephanie’s maternal and paternal grandmothers hold a special place in her heart and is where she learns the importance of sharing recipes.

It would not be until Jordan and Stephanie visited Savannah, Ga that they would realize what was missing in Morgantown, WV was its very own candy shop. Modern Appalachian Kitchen’s intentions are the same as Stephanie’s ancestors to share love and family recipes in the best way they know how by cooking and sharing with the community they have made in West Virginia.
