The property management team leads the daily operation, performance, maintenance, leasing, safety, and community relations of commercial properties. This role ensures properties are operated efficiently, maintained professionally, and managed to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations in alignment with objectives, lease requirements, budgets, and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day objectives with team while serving as the primary contact for tenants and community partners.
  • Maintain positive internal/external relationships to enhance experiences and resolve concerns promptly.
  • Fosters environment of teamwork by leading with focus, integrity, and leadership.
  • Provide creative ideas and strategies to positively reflect market growth using engagement strategies, solutions, and retention expectations.
  • Maintain operating expenses to positively contribute to net operating income of the assets.
  • Oversee team services and projects to deliver positive outcomes. Recruit, train, and develop employees as assigned.
  • Prepare monthly updates, records, and reports reflecting community and customer engagement strategic focus.
  • Provides feedback to operations on team member performance and contractor performance on work completed as needed.
  • Administer and deliver license programs to positively reflect asset branding.
  • Support leasing efforts, tenant retention, property tours, and move-in or move-out coordination as needed.
  • Responds by supporting building life-safety, accessibility, and emergency action plans at all-times.
  • Protect confidential information and company and tenant assets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Three to five years of retail management or business-related experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, property management, finance, or a related field in lieu of experience.
  • Supervisory, budgeting, and customer-service experience.
  • Working knowledge of leases, financial reporting, community organic marketing and applicable regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property-management or marketing software.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, when required.

Physical and Scheduling Requirements

  • Ability to walk and inspect the property, use stairs, and access mechanical or exterior areas.

  • Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, emergencies, and severe-weather events.
  • Regular use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment.
