Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring the protection of property and personnel through effective surveillance, conflict management, and adherence to safety protocols.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
• Utilize CCTV systems to observe and report suspicious activities or incidents.
• Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any irregularities or hazards.
• Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing detailed reports of incidents.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference.
• Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.

Requirements

• Must possess relevant security certification or training.
• Experience in loss prevention or surveillance is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with CCTV operations and monitoring systems.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification preferred; training may be provided if necessary.
• Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus but not required.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
