Each year, Morgantown Mall drives its commitment to children’s education through Earning for Learning, a partnership program designed to promote and support education in local school districts. Earning for Learning encourages local residents to shop at Morgantown Mall over a 8-week promotional period to earn “points,” and ultimately the chance to win cash prizes, for the school of their choice.
August 15 through October 15, each dollar that customers spend can be turned into points for the school of their choice. Shoppers simply redeem their receipts for points at the Mall Office and designate their points to the school of their choice. Receipts dated from Mondays and Tuesdays of the promotional period will be worth double points and Morgantown Mall Gift Card purchases will be worth triple points.
Morgantown Mall will keep a tally board located in the Food Court updated weekly with a running total of each school’s points. The top three schools with the highest dollar per student ratio will win cash prizes. Shoppers have until October 15, 2010 to turn in their receipts at Morgantown Mall.
Every school in Monongalia, Marion and Preston Counties is eligible to participate in the contest and is not required to sign-up. Morgantown Mall encourages residents to show their school spirit by participating in the Earning for Learning program and turn their shopping dollars into money for local schools.
